Crystal Saga Mounts Guide

Crystal Saga Mounts Guide

I keep getting asked ingame what my mount is and how I got it... So I thought I'd post up a guide here so people stopped asking haha.

There are a few different types of mounts: solo mounts, battle mounts and 2 player mounts. They all kinda interweave with each other when you upgrade them though.

The first solo mount is the Baby Turtle. You get this for free at level 15 through the MAIN QUEST CHAIN. It is a NON battle mount which means when you get into a fight, you... 'fall off' it and must remount once you have left battle. You can also purchase an un bound version from the Starglade misc item vendor for 1g.

You can upgrade this using Mount Upgrade Tokens into a Black Panther. This is also a solo NON battle mount, but it moves faster and gives much better stats than the turtle. It's stats are actually better than the free level 30 and level 45 mounts as well. It is also slightly faster.
Each ATTEMPT costs 6 tokens which are purchasable through the cash shop or received as special loot from certain bosses.
Expect to use at least 36 tokens before getting your Panther.
However, each time you fail, you gain Stars, which increase your success chance next time.

At level 30, you receive a Rabid Raccoon solo mount for free through the main quest chain. It is also a NON battle mount. You can also purchase this as an unbound mount for 5g from the misc item vendor in Aurora Point.
If you managed to upgrade your Turtle to a Panther, you may now combine this with the Raccoon to create a Mystical Scorpion mount.
Each attempt costs 12 Mount Upgrade Tokens, but you do not lose either of your mounts if you fail!
Expect to use at least 100 tokens before succeeding.
If you only have a Turtle and a Raccoon, you CANNOT combine them! You MUST have upgraded the Turtle to a Black Panther.

The Mystical Scorpion is the first Battle Mount which means you can ride your mount into battle without falling off (unless you get knocked off, which can happen!)
It also gives FAR superior stats to the previous mounts, and is stronger than the level 45 free mount as well, with all stats adding around the 5-6% mark to your base stats. It's also faster than all previous mounts.

At level 43 you receive a free Battle Stallion mount through the optional quest called 'Encouraging the Princess' given by Mapelonia in Celestial Palace Level 2. It is a little deceptive because it is not a battle mount. You can purchase this as an unbound mount for 10g from the misc item vendor in Bloodfang Village. Now, if you managed to get a Mystical Scorpion by combining your Panther and Raccoon, you can now try to combine your Battle Stallion and your Scorpion into a Battle Bear. Each attempt will take 24 Mount Upgrade Tokens, but you will not lose either mount if you fail. Expect to spend 160 tokens or more... It does get progressively worse!

The Battle Bear is the first Quality 2 battle mount you can get. It is considerably better than all the previous mounts, giving nearly twice the stats of the Scorpion and 10 times the stats of the basic free mounts.

Following the Battle Bear, is the Gorilla Titan mount. (Please see Polletp's post on page two for a picture of this mount!) Each attempt at morphing from a Battle Bear to a Gorilla Titan will cost you 36 Greater Mount Tokens. At the moment, these can only be gained through the Item Mall.

Following the Gorilla Titan is the Gryphon mount.

Not sure what comes next but I think the final solo battle mount is the Hellwing.

When I get further than this, I'll let you know which mounts are next in the chain.

2 Person Mounts at this stage can only be found through Dragon Hunt (Red and Black). The Therion Tokens (item shaped like dragon scales) will allow you to exchange for a special mount from Ronna the Adventurer in Tree of Life (level 60+ area). Expect to spend several thousand USD attempting to get one.

Note: Only the Ronna the Adventurer in Tree of Life will exchange these tokens, not the one in Starglade! If you are under level 60 you cannot RUN to Tree of Life, but you can Teleport there from any other town.

If you have a 2 Person Mount (ie. Tiger, Phoenix etc.) you may invite another person to ride with you, or they may ask to ride with you. This will appear in the person's portrait menu when you click them.
The level chain is as follows:
Genbu (10 Therion Tokens)
White Tiger (25 Therion Tokens + Genbu)
Seiryu (75 Therion Tokens + White Tiger)
Phoenix (150 Therion Tokens + Seiryu)
Note: I MAY have gotten the Therion token amounts wrong, but I'm 100% positive on the Genbu haha

FAQ:
How do I level my mount?

Feed it Purified Crystals! Each level will require a larger amount of crystals in order to level up, but you will be rewarded with better mount stats.

Where do I get Purified Crystals for mount food?
These drop from bosses in dungeons. The easiest way to get these is to solo Indigo 5 times a day. You get at least 1 per boss, and it's quite rare that you get none, unless you're much higher level than the boss.

If I level my mount using Purified Crystals, then morph it later, does it retain the levels?
Unfortunately no. When you morph a mount, it is essentially a new mount, and starts again at level 1.

What's the point of added stats when I just fall off the mount during battle? Will they actually add to my char stats?
Once equipped, the stats of your mount count towards your total. Even if you are not actually MOUNTED, they still count as the mount acts as a piece of equipment.

I'm trying to upgrade my turtle, and I have tokens, but it won't let me upgrade it!
Chances are, you don't have enough tokens on you. You do require MULTIPLE tokens to attempt to upgrade, not just 1 so make sure you have enough. Also, higher level upgrades require Greater Mount Tokens which are far rarer than regular mount tokens.

I've invited someone to ride on my 2 player mount and now I don't know how to kick them off!
See your portrait in the top left corner of your page? Underneath that, you see your pet portrait. To the left of the pet portrait when riding a 2 player mount, 3 little buttons appear. One says "Invite" (allowing you to invite another player to ride with you), one says "Dismount" to get off your mount. One says "Kick off" which allows you to get rid of a second player on your mount.

Crystal Saga Knight Guide

Crystal Saga Knight Guide
Retribution Knight

Let me start by saying that I am no expert and this guide is only a reference for a level 60 character also I will thank you if instead of criticizing me you give me suggestions on how to improve.

Basically a Retribution Knight is a DPS ( damage per second ) speced character so the main point of this build will be to inflict as much damage as possible in the least amount of time.

Stats:
Str +2 ( Each point increases physical attack and also slighty increases hit points) This is the most important attribute
Agi +0 ( Each point increases dodge, hit, and critical strike ratings) For this build agi is not that important since we are getting the damage and the hit points from Str.
Int +0 ( No comments )
End +1 ( Each point increases character hit points and physical defense ) I suggest adding 1 point of endurance since otherwise the character would be too squishy and you would be requiring to heal a lot which would reduce the time available for grinding.

So what I did was to add 2 points to Str and 1 point to End per level until you reach 90 End, then just pump STR.

Skills:

Fierce Attack_________1/5 Valiant Slash_________1/5 Iron Blood_________5/5
Slayer Swipe_________1/5 Saber Slash__________1/5 Slow_____________1/5
Improved Fierce Attack 1/5 Crucify______________5/5 Charge___________1/5
Improved Slayer Swipe 5/5 Reckoning___________1/5 Revenge__________1/5
Master Fierce Attack_______Improved Slayer Slash_____Improved Iron Blood5/5
_______________________Shock Blade_____________Bolt of Justice______1/5
______________________________________________Spir it Guard

Total Skill points used: 30

Now you may ask why I selected this skill distribution well...
[Fierce Attack] Only need level 1 since increasing it to level 5 doesnt gives you much attack power
[Slayer Swipe] Same as above, and also you get improved Slayer Swipe later which gives a lot more attack power
[Improved Fierce Attack] Same as Fierce Attack
[Slayer Swipe] Now this skills gives a lot of Damage Output 20% + 1034 at level 1 this is definitely worth upgrading to level 5
[Valiant Slash] Same as Fierce Attack
[Saber Slash] Same as Above
[Crucify] This is skill gives 12% + 776 at level 1 and also is an AoE Deals ranged effect to enemies in a line
[Reckoning] This is a really good skill for pvp since it will purge your enemy from buffs
[Iron Blood] This skill gives a great permanent bonus to physical damage
[Slow] Required for Charge
[Charge] This is a great skill for pvp since you charge towards your enemy slowing his movement by 50% for 4 seconds
[Revenge] Although it gives a nice physical damage bonus it requires you having less than 70% health so meh
[Improved Iron Blood] Now although this skill reduces your physical defense, the bonus it gives to physical damage I'ts so great that is definitely worth upgrading to level 5
[Bolt of Justice] This is a great skill for interupting spellcasting

So as the very first guide I have ever written I hope it helps you, have fun !

Crystal Saga Ice Mage Guide

Crystal Saga Ice Mage Guide

I'm ~not~ posting a build, this thread will have the ice mage skills and my opinions on them.
All comments made are purely my opinion, don't follow them to strictly.
With that said, what i want out of this thread is for new ice mages to have some info beforehand.
Please note that you only get "1" skill point every "2" levels.

A brief overview of stat builds.
I went full INT, the damage is crazy good and i have mediocre equips,
however you'll suffer from horrible HP and will die alot at bosses if you get hit.
From personal experience i'd say to be a mix of INT and Endurance, enough END to give you comfortable HP and defense
especially if you have plans for PvP later on.

~Ice Cone~
At level 1: Attack increased by 36%+23 and movement speed -50 to a single target for 4 seconds
My Comments: This is your basic 1v1 spell, not to powerful, movement speed gets lowered an additional 5% per level,I cant comment on the damage at later levels as i did not level this skill.
My Recommendation?: Keep at level 1

~Frost Shield~
At Level 1: MP Regen increased by (i forget amount but its low) and Damage Reduced by 4%
At Max: MP Regen increased by 28 and Damage reduced by 20% it always lasts 10minutes
My Comments: I maxed this skill, 20% damage reduc? yes ill take, and were not fire mages we sacrifice some damage skills for more defensive ones.
My Recommendation?: This is a recommended max, it helps especially when your AoE'ing with blizzard.

Blizzard(Level 10)
At Max: 110%+216, movement speed reduced by 70%, and can hit 15 targets. This spell has to channeled, moving cancels it it lasts 4.5 secs.
My Comments: I maxed this skill, but after alpha is over i wont. At level 50 is a skill called "Improved Blizzard" which functions just like this but better. Leveling isnt really that hard either.
My Recommendations?: Keep at level 1 unless you wanna buy a re-skill at level 50. But once this is learned you cant learn Balrog's Hell on fire tree.

Alacrity(Level10)
At Level 1: Passive skill that increases casting speed by 3% and another 3% each level.
My Comments: I'm not sure really, i have this at level 1 and the difference in casting is negligible.
My Recommendations?: This skill is either a keep at Level 1 or Max skill, all i can say.
Requirements?: Frost Shield level 1

Wind Strike(Level 20)
At Level 1: attack increased by 42%+322 to a single target.
My Comments: this is your 2nd 1v1 attack i kept it at level 1 so i cant comment on it's damage to much.
My Recommendations?: I'd say keep this at level 1 since it has no slowing effect and save skill points for Improved Ice Cone at level 40.
Requirements?: Ice Cone level 1

Magic Penetration(Level 20)
At Level 1: attacks have a chance to ignore you opponents defense values. and has a chance to proc. of 2% and an additional 2% per level.
My Comments: I have this at level 1, I would think this this would be a good skill to max at later levels cause itd be 10% chance.
My Recommendations?: Keep at level 1 until you get higher level'd, best to save your skill points.
Requirements?: Alacrity level 1

Halo of Ice(Level 30)
At Level 1: Roots enemies around caster for 3 seconds and can root up to 7 mobs. with an additional .5 seconds and 2 mobs each level.
My Comments: I only have this at level 1 right now, but i would assume this would be an amazing skill to max for PvP purposes.
My Recommendations?: I recommend maxing this out, this skill is for escaping purposes and keeping your target frozen re-heal, max for longer freeze time.
Requirements?: Blizzard Level 1

Deep Freeze(Level 30)
At level 1: Your attacks do an additional 2% magic damage. and stackable up to 2 times. At level 2 its still 2% magic damage but can stack 4 times, i dont know how well this skill scales cause mines only level 1.
My Comments: From the description it sounds like a nice skill, maybe a max at higher level?
My Recommendations?: Leave at 1, it doesnt scale well enough and skill points are better spent elsewhere at this level.
Requirements?: Magic Penetration Level 1

Improved Ice Cone(Level 40)
At Level 1: attack increased by 36%+787, reduces targets move speed by 50% and lasts 4 seconds. and an additional 5% move speed per level.
My Comments: i'll update this section once i have the skill but at level 1 it looks like it'll do a ton of damage.
My Recommendations?: I would say leave this skill at level 1. At level 80 we get Master Ice Cone which is an even more upgraded version of this.
Requirements?: Wind Strike Level 1

Mana Breeze(Level 40)
At Level 1: Restores a large amount of mana for 5 seconds. MP restored 12% with a cooldown of 130 seconds. With an additional 2% MP restored and 10 seconds off cooldown each level.
My Comments: I guess this could be useful for dire situations where your MP pot is on cooldown? I'd leave at level 1 you can buy MP pots to keep MP up skill points are better elsewhere.
My Recommendations?: Keep at 1 as for reasons i stated above, if you find yourself with leftover skill points you could use this as a skill point dump.
Requirements?: Deep Freeze Level 1

Improved Blizzard(Level 50)
At Level 1: attack increased by 98%+982, movement speed reduced by 50% and hits up to 7 targets with a radius of 350 and hits 4 times. The max targets and mspeed reduction increase every level.
My Comments: Max This Skill!! This is like... a godsend AoE skill. Nuff said.
My Recommendations?: Max This unless you REALLLY want to be a pure 1v1 mage.
Requirements?: Halo of Ice level 1

Frost(Level 50)
At Level 1: Attack ratio 40%, Bonus attack 982, and freezes a target for 3 seconds. Any damage done to target afterwards will cancel frozen status.
My Comments: This could be used if you accidentally aggro'd a boss or a PK'er is chasing you or you aggro'd to many mobs and need to run.
My Recommendations?: Leave at level 1, this i would consider mainly an escape skill and wouldnt really add to DPS since frozen status is canceled once you hit your target. Skill points better spent elsewhere.
Requirements?: Improved Ice Cone level 1

Empyrean Winds(Level 60)
At Level 1: attack increased by 26%+1328 and knocksback a target. the knockback range is 180. The knockback range is increased by 30 each level.
My Comments: I see this being useful for if your fighting a boss and need time to use an HP potion or fighting someone and need some space.
My Recommendations?: Keep at level 1, i would say this skill is just to put distance between you and something, not for damage dealing.
Requirements?: Improved Blizzard Level 1

Improved Wind Strike(Level 60)
At Level 1: attack increased by 42%+1523 to a single target.
My Comments:What i said above... is all it does. Level 2 of this skill is 46%+1612
My Recommendations?: Keep at level 1 till all your other main skills are maxed then consider this.
Requirements?: Frost Level 1

Ice Blast(Level 70)
At Level 1: attack increased by 58%+1940, and deals an addition 482 damage every 2 seconds for 6 seconds.
My Comments: This skill seems like a very good 1v1 skill, id recommend maxing if theres enough skill points.
My Recommendations?: Get this to atleast level 1.
Requirements?: Improved Wind Strike Level 1

Icicle Armor(Level 70)
At Level 1: defense+48 and a 1% chance to freeze attackers for 3 seconds. This is a passive for when Frost Shield is on. The freeze wears off if target is hit, and gets 1% extra proc. rate every level.
My Comments: With a 5% to freeze attackers at max and 5 seconds of being frozen + the increased defense. i would say max this skill.
My Recommendations?:Max this skill! Or if anything get atleast level 1.
Requirements?: Mana Breeze Level 1

Black Hole(Level 80)
At level 1: Summons a Black Hole in the target area. Deals magic damage and draws in enemies every second. attack ratio is 27%+302, hits 7 targets, and lasts 4 seconds.
My Comments: This skill gets an extra 1 second duration every level, and 2 more max targets every level. Lasting 8 seconds and hitting a max of 15 mobs at max level, i would say max this. Nuff Said.
My Recommendations?: Max this!
Requirements?: Empyrean Winds Level 1

Master Ice Cone(Level 80)
At Level 1: attack increased by 36%+2317 an slowing targets move speed by 50% for 4 seconds + and additional 5 seconds move speed each level.
My Comments: This has to be, hands down, our strongest 1v1 skill and it has no cooldown.
My Recommendations?: Max This!
Requirements?: Ice Blast Level 1

Everything i've said is purely MY opinion so negative comments about you screwing up your build will be ignored.
At level 80 you'll have a max of 40 skill points. Every skill maxes out at level 5.
That doesn't give us a lot of flexibility but this is so people can plan there build.
Good luck out there fellow Ice Mages.
Now go bring about the 2nd ice age

Crystal Saga Hybrid Holy-Blood Priest Guide

Crystal Saga Hybrid Holy-Blood Priest Guide

i. introduction.
hello! Welcome to my Hybrid Holy- Blood priest guide Guide. *pokes post title.* Thank you also for the effort on clicking and reading this. Before anything else under the sun, I would like to tell to each and everyone that I am not an expert or whatsoever. I purely made this to help my fellow newbies in making such a priest. Yes, you read it right. I'm still a newbie too. ^^

I would also like to ask for your kindness. This is my first time to make a guide.

ii. Priest
I don't like to hurt my brain on thinking what should the section title say.

Anyway, what is a priest , by the way? Priests are people who excel in magic and buffs. And I think you are making a priest because you like magic/support, or you like to use magic. But either way, a choice of being a priest is cool. ^^

Being a Holy - Blood priest means, you kick the enemies butts hard while you can heal your party members who had been kicked on their butts too, and give them support. Cool isn't?

iii. GOOD AND BAD
Like they say, no one is perfect. This is also the same as we do on builds. No build is perfect. So, be aware of the disadvantages and advantages of being a holy blood priest.

The Advantages of this build is that, you can heal, you can kill hard. The next thing is, you do not need a hp potion. Like, duh. You can heal yourself too and you will not need to buy MP POTS and this build is best for PvE cuz I promise when you go AFK mode YOU WILL NEVER DIE.. Unless someone will PK you. To avoid this go to peace mode first so the AFK PROTECTION will protect you from PKERS .

While the disadvantages of this build is that, You cannot have skills that will ressurect a player, a skill that will give your allies a + def..

iv. Stats build

Your stats build must be 2Endurance 1Int. Once you got at least 10k HP go pure int so you heal will be stronger and your magic damage.

v. Skills

HOLY SKILLS

*Light Heal* This is your basic healing. In lvl 1-40 just stay the level on lvl 1. This is very useful for PvE . Or if your at AFK mode this is important skill so you cannot die. This skill cost very low MP.
- At Level 1 HP will be restored 167% of healing stat + 18 At level 2. HP will be restored 172% + 100. Sorry I dont know the level 3 ,4 and 5 ill update this soon. (requires lvl 1)

*Holy Light* This is your skill that will heal you over 12 seconds. In 1-40 stay this on lvl 1. This is very useful too in PvE while at AFK mode. Light Heal + Holy Light heal = 100% Sure you will not die in monsters. (except you kill so very high monsters like bosses.)
- At Level 1 this skill will heal you over 12seconds 90hp per 2 seconds. At Level 2 122hp per 2 seconds. Dont know 3, 4 and 5. I'll update this soon.
( requires lvl 10)

*Saint's Strength* I dont know. This skill is useless. This is just for support priest because this will increase your healing while lowering your magic dmg. So just lvl this on lvl 1. (requires lvl 20)

*Healing Wave* Wooot. This is your best healing because you can heal your party members and yourself. But the cooldown sux. 12 secs.
-At Level 1 this skill will heal party members 124% + 612. At level 2 124% + 680. Same, Dont know 3 , 4 and 5. Ill update this soon. lol. (requires level 30)

*Improved Holy Light* lol i think this is the best healing skill. good for PvE again.
At Level 1 432hp per 2secs over 12 seconds. At level 2 470 per 2secs over 12 seconds. . again dont know the lvl 3 , 4 and 5. (requires level 50)

BLOOD SKILLS

(ATTACK SKILLS)

*Blood Beam* Max this . This is your basic attack skill from level 1 - 40.
-At level 5 80%Magic attack + 134 . + 4.5% Current HP. Sorry I can't see the lvl 1 . 2 .3 and 4. lol anyway thats not important . the important is max this skill. (requires lvl 1)

*Life Drain* I dont know this skill.. nevermind this. just level this on lvl 1 (requires lvl 20)

*Blood Pact* This is your nuke skill. This skill will damage your enemy so high. But Mine is only level 1. Maybe when your higher (45-60) try to add this for damage. but the cooldown sux. So you can only use this one time for one monster. >.<
-At Level 1 80%Magic attack + 500 attack +6% current HP. - At Level 2. 80%Magic attack + 552 + 6.2% of current hp (requires lvl 30)

*Improved Blood Beam* - This is your basic attack skill once you reached lvl 40+.
-At Level 1 80% Magic attack + 449 + 4% of current hp. At level 2 80% Magic attack + 487 + 4.1% of current HP.

(BUFF SKILLS)

*Tenacity* Just leave this on lvl 1.
- At level 1 Crit dmg reduced by 4%. At level 2 Crit dmg recued by 8% . Dont know 3, 4, and 5.

*Bloodflow* Leave this on lvl 1
-At Level 1 your attack will increase by 3% as long as you have hp above 70%. At level 2 your attack will increase 6%.

*Enchanced Circulation* Leave this on level 1.
- At level 1 Your HP rate will increase 8. While it reduces Incoming magic damage by 3%. At level 2 Your HP rate will increase 13. While it reduces Incoming magic damage by 6%.

*Bloodguard* MAX THIS SKILL. THIS WILL GIVE YOUR MORE HP.
- At level 5 you will receive 2989k HP

*Bloodfog Totem* Dont know this yet. You will get this skill on lvl 60.
- I think this skill will let you go stealth mode. XDD sorry dont know this yet. Nevermind this.

*Curse Mastery* Will increase your HP and let you learn lvl 1 curses. Try to max this
- At level 1 Max hp will increase 2%, lvl 2 Max hp will increase 4% , lvl 3 Max hp will increase 6% lvl 4 Max hp will increase 8% lvl 5 Max hp will increase 10%

NOTE . Once you receive blood beam skill. press V then put blood beam in DEFAULT this will your basic attack..

vi. Leveling.

In leveling, just do quests and some daily quest then once you dont have quest left, go grinding (grinding means kill monsters to level). Fight monsters 4 levels above you.. Remeber to use 1.5exp or 2exp cards to boost your exp while grinding . Don't waste your 1.5/2exp cards!

vii. GEMS.
I recommend put jade gems for HP. High HP = High Survival . But you can use Topaz too for Magical Damage )

REMEMBER!!! When you go AFK mode. Go to PEACE MODE. So AFK PROTECTION will protect you from PKERS.

My IGN name is Asura . For any questions just PM me ingame.

Crystal Saga Hybrid Healing Priest Guide

Crystal Saga Hybrid Healing Priest Guide

You are generally here because:
1. You've messed up your stats, and you are part holy/blood priest.
2. You require maximum heals for those hard vault runs and so on.
3. So this is generally assuming you are with another priest or the tank has health orb.

Spells you require:
Light heal: One of the best healing spells ever. You will use this the most. No cooldown, hefty cast time of 1.5 seconds.
Holy light:This is when you want to add few extra heal points on top of light heal. Heal over time. If you want to get "Improved holy light" at a later level, leave this at very low level. This spell does not stack.
Saint's strength: This is when you want maximum amount of heals, call it "healer mode". This spell drains mp over time. MP drain can add up quite a bit. If you want to save mp then you do not have to use it. Use it when you absolutely must. Recast to deactivate.
Healing wave: This spell is instant cast, and is aoe, so when your tank or your teammates are dying real fast, simply cast this healing spell. Make sure you target the correct area. Has a cooldown of 12 seconds, be aware. If you are going to get Circle of Healing at lvl 80, then leave this low, which is unlikely.
Improved Holy light: Better version of holy light.
Grace: This spell has a hefty cast time of 3 seconds, and a terrible cooldown of 6. If you can manage the time, take it or leave it.
Circle of Healing: Better version of healing wave. Short cooldown (4 seconds), awesome amount of heal, but increased cast time, by 1 second. I suggest if your party is seriously dying use both healing wave and circle of healing for a huge amount of heal at a short amount of time.

*Very important as a healer, when you are about to do some hardcore healing:
This is something I've found out from choc, my mage buddy that your default attack spell interrupts your healing.

a. Go to your skills.
b. Drag light heal from the skill tree, set it as your default spell. (the first heal spell you get from the list).

General skill combination:
1. Tank suddenly runs in to the boss with debuff.
If you are support, use pure in heart whenever you see a creepy debuff on the tank -> Healing wave -> Light heal x3 -> Holy Light -> your choice.
2. Your squad is dying/your tank's hp is incredibly low.
Healing wave -> Spam Light heal on the tank until hp is 80 percent -> use holy light for additional heal.

Possible problems you will run in to:

-You might get confused.
-The tank suddenly jumps in to the boss and you are nowhere near the tank.
-Your heal is glitched and it's cooling down.
-You've suddenly ran out of MP from spamming those heals.

How to lessen such problem:
Set up your skill bar.
I've set mine up when I'm about to heal like this.

1. Light Heal
2. Holy Light
3. Healing wave
4. Pure in heart (support)
5. MP potion
6. HP potion

Lastly, keep practicing your heals until you've gotten down to timing of Light Heal.

Attention rating usually.
45% Tank hp
35% MP
15% Other members/You
5% Pet

Good pet for healing, relatively easy to obtain:

Morphed Vulture

Now when using this while having light heal as default spell, make sure to hit the enemy mob once, press ESC to cancel cast, and select the tank and heal as usual. This makes your vulture buff you for better heals, while you don't have to keep attacking the mob.

-Now go own some dungeons.

Crystal Saga Knights Tanks and DPS Style Guide

Crystal Saga Knights Tanks and DPS Style Guide by lucansnaka

Hello people, seems like everybody is having problem about what to do with your knight right?
So... I want to prepare a small guide about what it takes to be a Tanker or a DPS knight.

DPS ( Damage Per Second ) --> Most Chosen...
Advantages:
- Easy to play
- Spam skills
- Damage grows fast
- Level up Faster

Disvantages:
- Potion Spaming
- Skills that use too much of your MP
- Not as good as Tanker in Dugeon, and still not as good as Rogue DPS in dugeon
- Take Bad damage

To make a Dps Knight you may wanna play the styles by level stats
2 strength / 1 Endurance
or
3 strength / 0 Endurance

The skills you should put On the Retribution Skill Tree

-Remembering Iron blood skill - Gives you nice Physical Attack from the start
Then you come to the Damage skills.

Fierce atack - level 1
Valiant Slash - Lvl 1 or Lvl 5 / Goes by your wish
Slayer's wipe - Lvl 1 / I know it will be harder to level...
Saber Slash - Lvl 1 or Lvl 5 / By your wish
Improved Fierce atack - Level 5 / There you go the useless skill become usefull ^^
Improved Slayer's wipe - Level 5 / that one too if you may wait from lvl 20 to 50...this is top damage skill

In the future you may considere getting the Improved Iron blood too
Some people likes to Use the Protection Skill tree to have to +25% HP +500 HP Skill named Battle Hymn
Its goes by your wish...

I cannot guide you more then this cause that is all I know about this... ^^

Now Tanker Knight - I'm making a Tanker knight right now so I'm Creating that build that is working for me (lvl 32 Tanker Server Himeng Valley) ATM
Advantages :
- Take really small damage
- Most usefull in dugeons at all
- High HP
- No using much potions
- Don't need the best Equipments to Have a High defense

Disvantages:
- Deals small damage
- Don't use Damage Skills
- Not a PVP monster ><
- Can't take down another Tanker

To make a Tanker Knight you may considere playing... by level stats
1 Strength / 2 Endurance - That is what i'm doing, it's very nice
or
0 Strength / 3 Endurance - That may be insane, and Hard as HELL to level

About Skills:
-
You choose to be a tanker so here we go to... The PROTECTION Skill Tree
First from the start you should conside the skill
Earth's Blessing - Lvl 5 +163 Defense + 10% Damage Reduction
(Don't need a shield, and It's a Passive Skill)
~
Battle Hynm - Needed by Tankers, On level 5 it gives you +25% HP + 500 HP
~
Taunt - Lvl 1 or Lvl 5 (Goes by your wish / In lvl 30 you have another Threat skill that does damage too)
~
Wave (lvl 30) - Lvl 5 - Does Damage in area and increase the Threat...(OVER TIME)
~
Improved Earth's blessing (lvl 40) - Lvl 5 for sure this is TOP defense skill
~
OR you may choose to use the Shield Damage skills but I really dislike the first 3...
That mean... THEY ARE USELESS AT ALL
Before level 40 the shield damage skills are very ridiculous...
I mean... your doing 250 Damage at lvl 30... If you are using the Shield skills you are doing 300!! GREAT IMPROVMENT RIGHT? haha
I really think the 3 First skills to shield are useless and who made then are Trolling the Tankers of the game ^^ haha

~
But anyway... You can go by
-Shield Strike lvl 1
-Sword Spring lvl 1
-Dragon hook lvl 1
- (lvl 40) Improved Shield strike Lvl 1 or lvl 5 / Here you choose what you want first...
- (lvl 50) Improved Sword Spring lvl 1 or lvl 5 / Damage skill at lvl 40 or lvl 50... goes by your wish ^^
- (Lvl 30) Back Breaker lvl 1 - to Open Shield Breaker
- (lvl 50) Shield breaker - That skill may rules (I still need to see it on action ^^)

Pets For the players
- As someone said in the forum, it would be nice to say what Pets are the bests to support each kind of knight right?
^^ here it goes
As a Tanker Knight you may prefer the Most Agressive and Physical atack Pet to try to help your damage up.
So it goes for Boxing Bear or a Morphed Bear (Full Strength)
In lvl 34 dealing 310 damage, the pet helps you doing 220 damage its a Boxing Bear ^^ full Strength
You Shouldn't try up the Vulture pet/Beach Crawler
You may wanna try out Morphed Barbarian MALE that have high damage and good damage skills
For pets That do Damage prefer the MALE Ones, that have better Appititudes then Females And have Damage skills
For pets that gives you Support Prefer the Female Ones, cause they have the Best skills ^^

As a DPS you might want a Pet that only helps you kill faster, and you do Damage enough to kill faster by yourself...
So by low level you may prefer MALE Archers or Morphed Archers Cause they can have the Frenzy Skill
That skill gives you Time by Time a Movement Speed Bonus +20 at lvl 1. (I only know the lvl 1 sorry '-')
Then you can level up and choose up to Spectre or Morphed Spectre FEMALE cause they have the best buffs, they can get your dodge up and make you run faster and make you atack faster.
By growing up as a DPS you may want to try out the blue Golem lvl 40 (I don't know his name)
^^ Every pet can be the best, if you level him and got the right skills you wanted...

I'll try to always make this guide better ^^ so i'm putting a list of itens that might be nice for Knights Level to Level
~ Here it goes

Do you guys know about Item Synthesis?? Nope!? '-'
It's a way to use the Dugeon drops named as Shards to Get Better Equipments.
From lvl 25 - XX you can do the Indigo Bright Dugeon that gives you the Dreamwalker Shard<
You got to Collect Shards then to Make itens on Item Synthesis menu on your inventory

The best itens for me so far
- Dreamwalker's Gloves (Physical Atacks UP) - 6 Shards
- Dream Walker's Ring (Physical Atacks UP + HP) - 7 Shards
- Dreamwalker's Helmet (HP UP) - 9 Shards

And having this 3 parts of the set you may have a Bonus (HP Up + MP Up)
This may looks like hard to do... as you need a party to do the dugeon and share the itens... but it is not, as you get lvl 30+ you can solo this dugeon being a Knight DPS or Tanker, The only difference is about the time took for Completing the dugeon.
You should use Lvl 30 Potions and then you can solo this dugeon 5 times a Day
22 Shards don't seems like Hard now right? As you can drop 2 by dugeon at maximum

Then Doing the Dugeon Named as Vault
You can drop Purple/Gold Top itens that will help you improve yourself but, there is always a new set, the one named "Etheral"
You can use the Itens you got from Dreamwalker set to make the Etheral's parts using less shards Too.
The best things for Etheral Set:

-Etheral's helmet (+10 Strength + HP up) - Dreamwalker's Helmet + 10 Ethel Shards
-Etheral's Band (+40 Physical atack + HP up) - Dreamwalker's Ring + 8 Ethel Shards
-Etheral's glove ( Physical Atack Up + 2% Physical atack dmg) - Dreamwalker's Gloves + 7 Ethel Shards

If you don't have time or patience to get all the itens, I do recommend you get at least the Glove cause it is Good for Knight as it is good for Rogues.
^^ Hope you take your time, the Etheral's set is harder to get but the dugeon have 3 bosses that means that you can get 6 shards by dugeon at maximum if you have lucky Hope you get there and get all the parts you want ^^ .

Ps : The things I wrote in this guide I learned by playing '-' I just saw the other dude DPS build '-'...
Yep he is good, I never get to lvl 50+ as DPS knight '-'
Ps 2: I didn't copy any of this things from anywhere ^^

Have a good time playing
Please post any question, sugestion or information to help me to make a better guide to us ^^
